OVERVIEW

BlueHalo is currently seeking a Mid Level Systems Administrator for a high priority and highly visible Cyber program. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join our dynamic team, where innovation meets excellence. We are seeking a skilled Tier 1/Tier 2 System Administrator to contribute to the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing IT system infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing top-notch support to our internal customers. A major component of this role will be configuring UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components. Some of the daily problems that you will be solving will involve:

Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Managing the daily activities of configuring and operating IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification and diagnosis.
Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem resolution.
Assist users in accessing and using IT systems effectively.
Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for various devices, including client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
Escalate and communicate the status of issues to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing capacity analysis and planning.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, and maintain system integrity.
Configure network components and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience.

Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.

An Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
