Join Our Team as an Assembly Technician - Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical Components


Are you skilled in the assembly of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components? We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team, performing a variety of wiring and assembly operations.

This role is crucial in ensuring our products meet the high standards of quality and precision our clients expect.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assembly Operations: Perform wiring and assembly tasks across standard and precise components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
  • Blueprints and Specifications: Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and routers. Understand and follow verbal and written instructions to perform your duties effectively.
  • Tool Operation: Use machine tools, hand tools, and power tools to fasten, rivet, screw, crimp, seal, solder, encapsulate, and secure parts in place.
  • Machine Setup: Set up and operate equipment such as arbor punch and drill presses to drill, tap, or ream component parts.
  • Component Installation: Mount components like transformers, resistors, and capacitors on panels or circuit boards and connect wiring as per guidelines.
  • Testing and Inspection: Utilize measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to test and inspect parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with production specifications and identifying defects.

Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for precision assembly work.
  • Knowledge of soldering, crimping, and relevant assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control, Electro Static Discharge procedures, and other relevant certifications.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational background.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to pass required certification tests in areas like soldering and crimping.
  • Previous assembly experience is desirable to achieve performance standards.
