KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will learn how to read construction drawings and parts lists in order to manufacture and maintain metal structures of all kinds.
  • You will qualify to weld metal components or assemblies.
  • You will cut steel beams and sheets to precise measurements, bend or fold them.
  • You will assemble individual parts or prefabricated assemblies on construction sites, align them and weld them together.
  • You will hand over finished structures and systems to customers and explain their operation on site. You will also explain any specific features and provide safety instructions.
  • You will also be responsible for maintenance and repair tasks. For example, you will check electrical components of control systems on conveyor systems.
