Weekend/evening mothers helper/nanny needed for infant twins

Location:
Verona, NJ

Schedule:

10 hours/week
Fridays & Saturdays from 1:30-6:30pm (can be flexible on schedule for the right person)
*Ability to work later (date nights) on occasion is necessary

Length:1 year commitment, with the potential to go longer

Start date:

ASAP

Pay:
$20-$30/hour depending on experience and education

a little tv time is OK sometimes).

Mom works in HR and is very familiar with the importance of a positive workplace environment, healthy boundaries, and strong communication among all members of the household.

When asked what their hopes are for their children in the future, these parents explained:
"As long as they're happy, healthy, productive members of society when they're older we will be happy."

About the children:

Ideal personality (of Nanny):You are an active, driven person who prefers to stay busy and is happy to come up with creative, fun ideas to engage the children while maintaining the overall organization of the household (leaving it how you found it). You are able to closely follow set schedules, and you are comfortable going with the flow as needed. You are a loving, warm person who enjoys spending time around adults as well as children, and you enjoy communicating with the adults in the household throughout the day as they come out of their offices occasionally. This family's current newborn care specialist has "really become a part of the family, and very obviously adores the babies;" they are looking for a nanny who can also "feel like they are a part of the family." You should be comfortable oscillating between responsibilities throughout the day, as on occasion a grandparent may take the babies and you will help with laundry or organization within the household instead.

Requirements:

Must be up to date on TDAP vaccine only (Covid and Flu are NOT required)

Responsibilities:

Loving and attentive care of infant twins, including the meeting of all basic needs (diapering, pottying, bathing, feeding, naps, etc.)
Foster confidence via nurturing care
Follow schedules closely for feeding, sleeping, wake windows
Engage children in learning and exploration via books, stories, art, songs and play
Plan and participate in ageappropriate activities (crafts, games, etc.), with a focus on developmental milestones
Spend time outdoors when weather permits (playing in the yard, going on stroller walks around the neighborhood)
Maintain organization and cleanliness of spaces you use in the home (essentially: leave the house how you found it)
Navigate the balance of providing attention to both children in a loving and patient way

Important to note:

Family is most concerned about children and nanny's happiness
This family has a friendly, sweet 35pound golden doodle. Nanny will not be responsible for walking the dog (family has a dog walker) but they need to be comfortable around dogs.
Mom works full time from home in her own office on the 3rd floor
Grandma (who is super easy going and helpful) is present in the household and so nanny should be comfortable with that
Nanny will not be driving the children around; they will be caring for them from the house, backyard, and walks to local library (about 15 mins each way)
