Key Responsibilities

Oversees program design, procedures, implementation, evaluations and corrective actions.
Designs, develops, implements and coordinate collaborative programs and new workforce development projects.
Ensures the Career Center attains measurable outcomes that aligns with contractual obligations and/or enhances the programs and services of the employment and training system.
Oversees the staff of the Career Centers, and monitor partner involvement.
Oversees system design, policies, and implementation.
Evaluates and report on the impact of the program initiatives and ensures the adoption of continuous improvement methodologies for the benefit of the customers.
Reviews the budget, revenues, and expenses of the Career Center.
Establish Career Center operational goals.
Set objectives for staff, supervises and evaluates job performance.
Provides and/or ensures technical assistance and training to staff, subcontractors and collaborating agencies.
Works with representatives from Federal, State and local agencies to develop and coordinate collaborative programs.
Develops and maintains community contacts, planning groups and collaborators to assist in the design, development and implementation of Career Center programming.
Work closely with system partners to align programs to create a seamless system of service delivery.
Coordinates business outreach strategies to increase industry participation in the workforce development system.
Expand the network of partners and assists in the development of access points for service in the community.
Interpret laws, regulations and policy guidance in the evaluation of programs for compliance.
Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, human resources or related field, and five to ten years related experience required.
Current or past operational experience in managing career center services is preferred.
Ability to present information to various stakeholders, orally and in written form.
Demonstrated understanding of related Federal, State and Local statutes, regulations and policies.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work sensitively and effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
