Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on selling an innovative ad-tech product to small retailers across South Brooklyn, including Park Slope.

This position will require a blend of fieldwork and remote interactions, targeting, bars, restaurants, and other small, locally-owned retail establishments.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify decisionmakers within retail businesses, initiate contact, build relationships, and close monthly subscription sales for our cuttingedge technology product.
  • Manage a balanced day of remote work and field visits, effectively scheduling and meeting potential clients.
  • Document and track sales activities, leads, and followup tasks in the CRM system to ensure organized progression through the sales funnel.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in cold calling and relationship building.
  • Previous experience in selling directly to small retailers strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with South Brooklyn's retail environment and community is a plus.
  • Prior roles in companies like Yelp or Google Places, or similar platforms, will be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and persuasively.
  • Organized and detailoriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, driven to achieve sales targets.
