    Collaborating closely with various departments such as Broking, Strategic Advisory, Peril Advisory, Ratings Advisory, the Chief Actuary's Office and CAT Advisory, you will offer innovative solutions to optimize reinsurance placement, enhance capital efficiency, and support growth initiatives.

    As a valued advisor, you will champion the best interests of our clients, supporting them in diverse ways.

    We currently have an exciting opportunity available in cities like New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Seattle, Morristown, NJ, or Minneapolis.


    What to expect:

    • Be responsible for organizing, cleaning, and analyzing data, assisting in building analyses, and evaluating assumptions, premiums, and risk factors that impact loss liabilities.
    • Serve as a strategic partner to brokers and clients, collaborating to uncover solutions to various challenges.
    • Work closely with actuarial and broking teams to ensure client needs are met, analytics resources are utilized efficiently, and the client relationship is enhanced through GC Analytics.

    We will count on you to:

    • Collaborate with senior actuaries and brokers to understand client needs and provide advice on reinsurance programs based on risk profiles and industry trends to mitigate risks.
    • Develop models and calculations to assess risk, formulate pricing strategies, and address a range of risk exposures for clients.

    What you need to have:

    • 3 to 5 years of industry experience and completion of 3 to 5 CAS actuarial exams
    • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field
    • Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling
    • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI or equivalent
    • Coding skills in programming languages like Alteryx, R, Python, VBA, or SQL

    Marsh McLennan supports a hybrid work model, combining remote work flexibility with in-person collaboration and developmental opportunities. Colleagues are encouraged to spend at least three days a week either in the office or on-site with clients, fostering teamwork and engagement.

    The salary range for this role is $84,700 to $155,400, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Performance-based incentives may also apply.
