- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct architects, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure department needs and objectives are incorporated into project scope
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Organize and run weekly project owner/architect/contractor meetings
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks, overall supervision of construction safety plan.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Responsible for assistance in the development of and implementation of property level capital improvement plan.
- Ability to lead teams of architects and designers through the entire design process from inception to turnover and ongoing support.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, and execute procurement and installation of all owner supplied materials.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the design and construction processes on a large scale
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Ability to interface with senior level executives to achieve project goals
- Willing to travel to various locations, up to 50% travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent education and expereince.
- 5-10 years of industry related or relevant experience managing multiple large scale construction projects with up to $50M in project cost.
- Previous experience in entertainment, gaming or hospitality is preferred.
- Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project or other CMP scheduling software.
