    *JOB DETAILS**Job Title:

    *Location:

    *Duration:* 13 Weeks

    *Shift: *8 hour shift

    *Medical Assistant Float Pool* contract position with possibly of temp to hire.
    _MA will be floated to the following 5 locations as needed but will work the full day at the assigned site:_
    *Temple University Hospital *- 3401 N Broad St, Phila, PA 19140
    *Temple - Jeanes Campus
    • Central Ave, Phila, PA 19111

    *Chestnut Hill Hospital
    • Germantown Ave, Phila, PA 19118
    *Fort Washington* - 515 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Washington, PA 19034
    *Oaks *- Corporate Center, 450 Cresson Boulevard Oaks, Ste. 200, Phoenixville, PA 19460

    *JOB DESCRIPTION: The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider according to established policies and procedures.
    Performs activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort and safety of patients and their families. Responsibilities include clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.

    *Requirements: Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

    Other :
    Graduate of Medical Assistant program. (Required)
    Experience 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant (Preferred)
    License/Certifications CCMA - Cert Clin Medical Assistant (Required) or CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Required) or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
    BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)

    Pay:
    $ $24.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week


    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday
    • Rotating weekends

    Work setting:

    • In-person

    Experience:

    • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • BLS Certification (Required)
    • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

    Ability to Commute:

    • Philadelphia, PA
    (Required)


    Ability to Relocate:

    • Philadelphia, PA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
