Description
We are looking for school companions (m/f/d) according to SGB VIII and SGB IX to strengthen our teams in the district of Oberhavel, Brownsville, WI.
School companions provide support for students with physical, mental, emotional, or sensory impairments, as well as those at risk of impairment, to enable them to fully participate in education.
Your responsibilities:
Accompany and support students during classes
Promote concentration, learning ability, and willingness to learn
Strengthen social-emotional skills, manage conflicts in a pedagogical manner, and develop problem-solving strategies
Promote communication skills
Structure learning and work processes
Promote social integration and provide support with special aids
Assist with daily school activities (dressing and undressing, breaks, mobility, etc.)
Work closely and cooperate with school staff (teachers, etc.) and other institutions (youth welfare office, disability services, etc.)

Your qualifications:
Completed university degree in special education, social pedagogy, rehabilitation pedagogy, special education, or equivalent qualification
Completed training as an educator or a comparable qualification
