    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

    Job Details:


    • 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • 12-hour variable shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

    • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    • Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

    • Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back

    • Patient ratio: 4:1

    • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

    • Minimum 2+ years experience required with Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required

    • ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II preferred

    • Ventilator/Trach experience required

    • At least 1 prior travel experience required

    • EPIC charting experience preferred

    • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

    • Care for patients with heavy telemetry, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke

    • Any color scrubs permitted

    • Must be resilient, hard-working, and able to manage independently in fast-paced environment

    • Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
