Job Description· Develop and design programs and user interface for Wenzel Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using MODUS programming language.
· Maintains and troubleshoot new and existing programs and updates on CMM.
· Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as software, electrical, or mechanical.
· Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
· Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment, test and measurement, analytical equipment and facilities.
· Supports workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
· May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application].
· Compile and analysis dimensional layout for conformance to engineering specification.
· Maintains and manages the engineering specification reviews
o Conducts engineering specification audits
o Review engineering audits for compliance
· Support customer visits activities as required to include DV/PV/PPAP builds
Complete any special projects as assigned.
Perferred Qualification
Two or more years' experience CMM Programming in manufacturing and/or quality field.
Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OSHA requirements.
Experience in CMM programming/operations (Modus software)
Experience in lean manufacturing and QC tools techniques
Software experience in MS office application
