Structural and Mechanical Engineer for Knik-Fairview (m/f/d)

IPROconsult GmbH is seeking to strengthen their team in the field of structural and mechanical engineering for their Berlin/Brandenburg branch and their location in Neustrelitz.

The work location will be either Berlin or Neustrelitz.


Your Role:

  • Structural and mechanical engineering planning, specifically for the design of weir closures and lock gates as part of the Structural Water Engineering team
  • Creation of BIM plans
  • Preparation of workshop plans
  • Assessment of the condition of structural and mechanical components of water management facilities
  • Management of complex and interdisciplinary projects and assignments
  • Preparation of structural and mechanical calculations
  • Development of design concepts and construction documents
  • Onsite supervision of project execution
  • Negotiations with authorities and other stakeholders involved in the planning process
  • Preparation of tender documents and participation in the bidding process

Your Profile:

  • Completed engineering degree in the field of structural or mechanical engineering, with a focus on structural water engineering
  • Experience in structural and/or mechanical engineering design
  • Proficient in common computer applications
  • Indepth knowledge of 3D CAD programs
  • Preferred, but not required: previous work experience
  • Reliability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent work ethic
