The Chair of Electronic Components (LEB) at Salt Creek is looking for a:

Your tasks

  • Independent technical support of infrastructure facilities in the clean room laboratory, including ultra-pure water system, exhaust air purification systems, house vacuum, and compressed air
  • Organizational coordination with the Department of Building Management at FAU regarding the trades of supply, exhaust, heating, cooling water, and electricity to ensure clean room operation
  • Support in the redesign and expansion of the existing control system for the clean room laboratory
  • Technical support of measurement stations for the electrical characterization of electronic components
  • Acting as an electrical specialist for the chair

Your profile

Required **

  • Relevant degree in electronics or mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant experience in the maintenance of building and infrastructure systems
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself with new technical environments if necessary

Desirable *

  • Technician degree
  • IT skills and willingness to take on tasks in the area of IT and computer administration for the chair
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute IIS
