Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team.
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process sales transactions using cash registers or pointofsale (POS) systems
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Skills:
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to accurately count money and make change
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform retail calculations (e.g., discounts, percentages)
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
