Fence Installer (Independent Contractor)

Responsibilities:

Fence Installation:

Install a variety of fences, including but not limited to cedar, composite, vinyl, and steel based on project specifications.

Measurements and Layout:

Accurately measure and mark fence lines, ensuring precise placement and alignment.

Material Handling:

Load and unload materials, transport them to the worksite, and organize tools and equipment for efficient installation.

Post Setting and Foundation Work:

Dig post holes, set posts in concrete, and ensure proper alignment and stability.

Cutting and Customization:

Cut and customize materials to fit specific project requirements, using appropriate tools.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established standards for safety, aesthetics, and functionality.

Collaboration:

Work closely with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Fence Installer, with a demonstrated ability to install various types of fences.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with different fence materials, tools, and installation techniques. Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.

Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients.

Reliability:

Punctual, dependable, and committed to completing projects within specified timelines.

Driver's License:

A valid driver's license is required.

Tools and Truck:

Must provide your own tools and transportation to and from job sites.

General Liability Insurance:

Must have general liability insurance coverage.
