Location NHQ Purpose

Support, manage or lead infotainment projects and programs to ensure that current and future Hyundai/Genesis infotainment systems meet market and business requirements by coordinating with internal HMA/GMA/HMC groups, HMC affiliates/regions and external suppliers, vendors, and partners.

Subject matter expertise on core aspects of infotainment (audio, navigation, and multimedia systems) and serve as the go-to resource for infotainment planning and operations.

Major Responsibilities


Primary responsibilities:


Act as supporting or primary contact and liaison for internal departments, HMC, affiliates and external partners, suppliers, and vendors for infotainment programs/projects.

Manage day-to-day operational and short-to-mid-term infotainment planning functions.
Develop, track and update infotainment packaging guides for all current and upcoming model years.
Manage SXM program including financial performance, payments, and data exchange operations.
Manage, edit, and update SAP report tables for associated infotainment data management.
Analyze and report out retail sales data on connected head units and SXM head units.
Review and approve Monroney labels for all listed infotainment items.
Develop, review, and edit infotainment content for owner's manuals/documentation, training materials, marketing, and other communication channels.
Lead navigation map and multimedia software update release improvement communications.
Serve as SME for current infotainment system features and capabilities. Major Responsibilities (continued)
Serve as SME for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.
Support and manage SoundHound and MapCare programs including financial management, training/marketing documentation and feature development and enhancements.
Exercises discretion develop, submit, track, and manage infotainment supplier budgets and PO requests.
Participate in infotainment audits to ensure HMI/UX satisfaction and meet market requirements.
Coordinate, analyze and present market research and owner surveys for infotainment strategies.
Review and confirm infotainment press releases for accuracy.

Support traditional audio system programs including base and premium audio system development and planning (including premium audio partners, HD radio and SXM).

Lead meeting and presentation preparations and coordination for infotainment programs/projects.
Uses advanced knowledge to develop, track and continually update competitive infotainment system landscape.


Secondary responsibilities:

Support strategic planning efforts for mid-to-long term roadmap development.
Support HMA service engineering and quality in countermeasure improvements.
Support executive briefings, reviews, and presentations on infotainment programs/projects. Authority
Manage PO creation, submission, and invoice validation.
Approve payment of supplier invoices after reconciliation and reviews.
Act as primary lead for external partners, suppliers, and vendor with no signature authority.
Approve infotainment-related documents for training, marketing, comms and Monroneys where appropriate. Education ~ Bachelor's degree required.~ Must be a high school graduate Related Experience
Five or more years of automotive OEM or T1/T2 supplier experience preferably in infotainment and/or connectivity operations. Skills/Knowledge
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Strong strategic planning skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
High level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
Excel skills particularly important for data analysis
Prior experience utilizing IT systems such as AS400, SAP, etc.
Troubleshooting logic, skills and determination to identify root causes and solve problems.
Ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously. Certification
