Supplied and Materials Coordinator - Emergency Department
We're looking for team members ready to contribute their skills and expertise to improve our rapidly growing system.


Leads and coordinates workflow relating to all functions and duties required to provide for the ongoing availability of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, in conjunction with performing a variety of direct patient care services to assist in the implementation of selected portions of care.


  • Establishes, coordinates and maintains use and inventory levels of specialty supplies, including but not limited to, rotating, storage and ordering. Provides information related to historical and forecasted usage.
  • Assures that all equipment and supplies are appropriately vetted through Biomed and Materials Management. Acts as a resource to staff and ensures availability of sourced and referenced materials related to equipment and supplies. Works closely with materials management to ensure the ongoing optimization of supply inventories (PAR levels, recalls, tracking, etc...). Other duties as assigned
  • Maintains departmental readiness and compliance with regulatory standards. Ensures timely implementation, monitoring and communication of quality and/or safety concerns. Other duties as assigned.
  • Must collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the care team. Must have working knowledge of departmental supply and equipment needs based on clinical expertise. Assists leadership on capital budget planning and purchase process. Tracks past, current and future capital purchases for the department. Other duties as assigned.
  • Participates on housewide committees pertaining to equipment and supplies as directed by the departmental leader. Ensures the clinical department is appropriately represented on enterprise committees. Assists in product trials and analysis to standardize supplies and reduce cost. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting
  • One year of experience in supply, equipment, and instrumentation inventory
