Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining saw equipment to cut various materials according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate saw equipment to cut materials such as metal, wood, or plastic
Read and interpret blueprints or work orders to determine cutting requirements
Perform quality inspections on finished cuts to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
Make adjustments to the saw equipment settings as needed for different materials or cutting requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the saw equipment

Skills:

Proficiency in quality inspection techniques
Experience with tools such as micrometers for precise measurements
Knowledge of different cutting methods including plasma cutting, machining, and electrical discharge machining
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Familiarity with programming saw equipment for specific cuts
Understanding of sheet metal properties and cutting techniques
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience with operating machinery like milling machines

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
