Job Position: Financial Analyst at Applied Research Associates

Applied Research Associates (ARA) is currently seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their Southwest Division in Albuquerque, NM or Shalimar, FL. If numbers, budgets, and reports excite you, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to shine in a dynamic and energetic environment.

Responsibilities as a Financial Analyst:

Develop plans to boost cost reduction initiatives and enhance processes for program execution
Analyze financial reports to track program utilization efficiently
Coordinate and monitor the performance of assigned programs
Collaborate with stakeholders to address program status and resolve issues
Assist in preparing proposals, specifications, and financial conditions
Track labor, material, overhead, and other costs related to programs
Identify and manage financial risks with effective mitigation strategies
Participate in program management reviews and progress reports

Requirements:

Strong analytical skills in finance and program cost tracking
Ability to translate financial information into clear documentation
Experience in collaborative environments and working under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) preferred

Preferences:

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of finance/accounting and 2+ years of project management experience
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance
