Team Leader for Receiving Department (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
As a team leader, you ensure a smooth and timely process in the receiving department (balancing, evaluation, and distribution of daily tasks and special projects)
You are responsible for the professional guidance of your team members, including monitoring working hours and coordinating vacation planning
You are the main point of contact for other departments and the logistics management for receiving-related matters (planning daily tasks, handling/solving special projects and escalations, cross-departmental projects)
Responsible for maintaining a positive external image, as well as cleanliness and organization in the assigned work area
You will also be actively involved in daily tasks, such as inspecting goods, assisting with unloading delivery vehicles, unpacking and sorting packages, as well as scanning, booking, and labeling goods
Your Profile
Successfully completed commercial or logistics education
Relevant work experience in the logistics field and first experience in leading a team
Proficiency in common MS Office applications
Valid driver's license for forklift trucks (forklift license)
Experience with electronic warehouse management systems (preferably SAP)
Leadership skills, sense of responsibility, and organizational talent
Problem-solving and results-oriented work approach
