"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3-year apprenticeship program as a Train Traffic Controller (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Frankfurt (Main).

The vocational school will take place in block form at the Heinrich-Kleyer-Schule, also located in Frankfurt (Main).

For your commute, you will receive free company travel tickets and, if needed, a student ticket for the state of Hesse.

Additionally, some trainings and seminars will also take place digitally or online. During your practical training, you will work in both the early and late shifts.
With this apprenticeship, you will become a coordinator for our trains. However, you will not be on the train itself, but in a control center (called a "signal box"). We have countless signal boxes all over Germany.

Through screens or boards, you can monitor the trains in your area and use buttons, keys, and levers to control their movements.

With the push of a button, you can change signals (traffic lights for the trains) to green or red, and also switch tracks so that the trains can change tracks.
