Your tasks

As a central contact person, you will develop and coordinate the strategic development of processing new plastics in close collaboration with our Material Engineering and plastic injection molding departments.
In fundamental investigations, you lay the foundation for a series-stable and efficient processing of new plastics that meet the high requirements of our product functionality.
In the series process, you ensure 2nd level support and support the plastic injection molding department.
You actively participate in the design of necessary equipment and support the operational interfaces during the start-up and ramp-up in the production process. In addition, you act in the ongoing series optimization in accordance with our continuous improvement principles and work closely with our interfaces in toolmaking and quality management.
You support product development and process planning with impulses for production- and process-oriented product design (DFMA).

Successfully completed training as a master/technician or technical studies (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or similar). You have convincing basic knowledge, especially in the manufacturing technologies of an electrical factory.
Expert knowledge in the processing of technical and high-performance plastics.
Several years of experience in application technology or as a process mechanic desirable.
