Description
Coordinate the profitable scheduling and delivery of products. Serve as a resource person in the areas of traffic management and regulatory compliance.

Shift is Monday - Friday 2:00am - 10:30am
with rotating Saturdays


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively plan the delivery schedule and dispatch trucks and drivers to complete delivery schedule with maximum productivity and efficiency
Actively pursue improvement methods to dispatch system on a continuous basis
Serve as a resource in the areas of traffic management and regulatory compliance
Coordinate truck maintenance
Handles customer service needs
must have solid Computer skills
Routing experience a plus


Physical Demands and Work Environment:


Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds.

Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Protective equipment required:
steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.

Work environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.


QUALIFICATIONS
3 years experience in transportation industry
Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers
Understanding and knowledge of lubricants
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to deal with a variety of situations and to make decisions and adjustments as unexpected situations arise
Ability to deal with customers under diverse situations
Ability to project a positive image to customers
A team player
