Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Dentist in providing quality dental care in a high volume dental practice environment


Job Responsibilities:

  • Seats and prepares patients for treatment
  • Maintains material, instruments and supplies needed for scheduled treatment procedure
  • Dispenses supplies and materials and stocks each operatory regularly
  • Takes digital radiographs, developing and places them in mounting position
  • Dismisses patient to receptionist and returns to disinfect operatory
  • Maintains an inventory of supplies
  • Monitors laboratory cases by logging cases leaving and returning to the practice
  • Monitors dentist schedule to ensure patients arrivals and/or updates to daily schedule
  • General office maintenance, i.e., cleaning lab areas, keeping floor free from a debris
  • Miscellaneous office duties as assigned by manager including, but not limited to: answering phones, calling patients and filing
  • Pours stone and plaster models and assists dentist with laboratory work as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required/college degree preferred

Pay:
$ $27.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
