Why this role is important to usThe role resides with our Investment Strategy and Research team, which is a multi-asset class investment team responsible for supporting distribution by engaging with clients, making portfolio recommendations and identifying market trends for investment ideas.
This person will be responsible for conducting analysis and market thematic research used to support the development of be-spoke client solutions.
What you will be responsible forAs Investment Solutions Research, AVP you will:Incubate research ideas and conduct supporting analysis;Work across investment teams to validate and socialize the resultsArticulate research findings through presentations and written thought leadershipEngage with distribution teams and marketing to amplify key pointsUtilize knowledge of quantitative analysis concepts such as forecasting models, portfolio construction, risk management, and trading; quantitative modeling, data analytics.
Education & Preferred QualificationsMasters Degree and/or pursuit of CFA is desirableAt least 3-5 years of relevant industry experienceWorking knowledge of financial markets, economics, investment analysis, portfolio theory, and related conceptsTechnical proficiency with Bloomberg or FactSet as well as MS Excel; Programming skills in at least one supported statistical programming environment (Python, R, or MATLAB) is desirable but not required.

They will be an adept critical thinker, comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.
