General Description:


Are you passionate about utilizing data-driven insights to optimize operations and drive efficiency? As a Forecast and Data Management Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing data management and report generation for forecasting and procurement.

Collaborating closely with our Seed Business Team, you'll analyze market trends, manage data, and deliver precise forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Collaborate closely with the Business Manager and Seed Business Team to determine short and long-term seed forecasts and inventory requirements.

Gather and manage data necessary for developing purchasing and forecasting tools, incorporating sales, bookings, crop status, and market trends.

Efficiently manage material creation processes and assist IT in maintaining product and item statuses within our online ordering system.

Provide sales support to key accounts by furnishing relevant sales information and assist Supervisor Inventory distribution during peak seasons.

Coordinate the preparation and mailing of catalogs, order forms, and price books.

Generate crucial sales reports and collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate inventory and vendor performance.


Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Horticulture, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

1-2 years of prior experience in procurement with a demonstrated interest in diverse flower seed products.

Proficiency in data analysis techniques, forecasting principles, and data management processes.

Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking abilities.


Working Conditions:
Enjoy a stable and primarily desk-based environment where effective communication and multitasking skills are vital.

Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting may be required during site visits or meetings.

Pay:
$ $26.88 per hour
