This is a Summer Seasonal Position.

Must be able to perform responsible unskilled and semi-skilled labor in a variety of areas to include mow grass, weed eat, rake, trim, groom ball fields, collect trash, clean restrooms and other tasks involved with public parks maintenance.

Be able to perform continuous general labor at a steady pace in all weather conditions and have knowledge and experience in the safe operation of general hand tools/mowing equipment.

Be dependable, understand and follow specific oral instructions, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the 10th grade. Steel-toed boots are required with the City providing reimbursement up to $75 for purchase after 30 days of employment.


Salary:
$13.00 hr. DOE. Minimum of 40-hour week Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some weekend work may be required.

Position open until filled.
