    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Manager to support Payment Operations testing on the Payment Operations Business Initiatives and Testing (BIT) team.

    This manager role will oversee testing execution supporting various payment initiatives including but not limited to Enterprise Money Transfer System (EMTS), Pega, RCS, IVRU, Global Money Transfer System (GMTS), Trade, etc. responsible for managing testing strategy, project Implementation, and timelines for Payment Operations. Leadership will include team members that are geographically disbursed. The team will also provide testing and technical subject matter expertise to partners inside and outside of Payment Operations including project leadership teams and various senior-level stakeholders. Engage in enterprise-wide business strategy while displaying in-depth knowledge of emerging trends in the industry; partners with executive management across Wells Fargo to define strategy and create and execute corresponding business plans and initiatives.

    In this role, you will:

    • Manage and develop team of business systems consulting staff or technology systems analysts in providing technical solutions with moderate complexity and risk in the area technology business systems, and engage business and technical groups associated with the function
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk factors in key areas of technology risk including security, stability, and scalability
    • Identifying strategic opportunities; identifying and implementing technology requirements (systems, architecture, and infrastructure) while coordinating technical resources; and communicating strategy and related business plans to management.
    • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding technology or related policies that may impact multiple lines of business
    • Interpret business requirements and provide in depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management
    • Collaborate and consult with business and technical groups or management to ensure effective technical solutions are provided based on business requirements
    • Road-mapping, coordination, and implementation of complex work including liaising with Technology, Product, senior and executive leadership, Operations, and others..
    • Interact directly with technology systems analysts for conducting evaluations of business requirements and recommend appropriate technological alternatives
    • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Business Systems
    • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

    Required Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of Technology Business Systems, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 2+ years Leadership experience

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
    • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) development and implementation of testing practices/processes
    • Experience with All Levels of testing Functional, End to End, Integration, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, Volume, Performance, BCP, Customer, Implementation, Backout.
    • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
    • Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization
    • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
    • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
    • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
    • Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change
    • Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
    • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
    • Experience with Agile
    • Experience with Test Automation
    • 4+ Years of experience in payments (Wires, ACH)
