As a Sheffield employee, you will...


• Be responsible for ensuring the reliability and accuracy of internal and external specifications for product development and changes in production


• Organize and lead expert discussions to identify potential failures in components and assemblies, and determine the necessary number of tests to ensure reliability and longevity


• Conduct analyses and forecasts in collaboration with development engineers and customers based on test and field data


• Define and optimize processes, methods, and tools, including comparing the reliability of different technical solutions and identifying weaknesses in concepts and designs


• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and service and quality management to meet reliability requirements


• Implement the core process of reliability development and conduct risk analyses


• Derive target definitions and reliability planning from reliability requirements


• Coordinate reliability verification as the basis for release recommendations
