***:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) to resolve Account Receivables issues.
- Processes appeals online or via paper submission
- Coordinate and clarify with providers, when necessary, information that seems incomplete or is lacing for proper account/claim adjudication.
- Coordinate with Front Desk staff the collections of current or past due patient balances, copays, deductibles, etc.
- Routinely work insurance and patient collections.
- Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies.
- Assists clinics with prior authorizations per the appointment scheduler, when needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Enter payments and bills into Sage accounting software.
- Have experience in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.
- Serve as backup for the front desk staff when necessary.

Qualifications
High school or equivalent
- Medical Billing and Coding: 1 year (preferred)

From $18.00 per hour
