Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the marketing department with the design and creation of graphics to meet the company's specific marketing needs.

Essential Functions:

Assists with the design and development of websites, catalogs, print collateral, and social posts.
Works closely with Art Director to execute the concept through to completion.
Creates designs, concepts, and layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
Uses computer software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, to generate new images, web assets, social media assets, designs, photos, and page layouts, etc.
Updates websites with new products and promotions.
Maintains archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
Supports marketing team with creativity, ideas, and concepts.
Manages multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, & Capabilities:

Proficiency in Adobe CC
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Knowledge and understanding of design principles (typography, composition, layout, color, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in Print, Web, E-Commerce, and Social Media design.
Experience in HTML and Wordpress experience a plus.
Ability to design for multiple and diverse brand guidelines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to changing deadlines and priorities.
Ability to manage creative tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Digital illustration skills a plus.
Graphic design portfolio required.

Physical Requirements:

Largely a sedentary role; however, routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and printers.
Occasionally lifting, moving, or carrying equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
Visual acuity required.

Work Environment:

Professional office environment.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles due to necessary communication with warehouse personnel.
Occasionally exposed to noise level that is moderate to high.
