About the team and the role:

As a Director of Product Management for Ads Interfaces, you'll lead a team of talented product managers revolutionizing the way eBay sellers create, manage, and understand their advertising campaigns.

eBay has a unique opportunity to streamline the advertising process for our sellers, making it more intuitive, efficient, and transparent.

This is a key part of our commerce advertising strategy where we want to empower our merchants through a delightful experience to enhance their relationship with the eBay buyer population.

Your mission will require customer obsession, innovation, and dedication in a fast-paced environment. You will be the product leader for this group, designing the product architecture and driving eBay's tech-led innovation.

You will be responsible for strategy, management of the product team, and maintaining a focused curiosity for our customers' needs and challenges.

Not only savvy to understand the world they live in but really shadow the life of our sellers to understand their pain, challenges, needs to design what is right to build for them in order to empower their growth.

What you will accomplish:

Lead our product strategy and execution for our seller advertising interfaces to build a magical experience.
Ensure product strategy aligns with the needs and challenges of our sellers.
Be the voice of our customers to humanize our technological challenges.
Navigate and solve problems within a complex matrix environment.
Establish a culture of innovation in close partnership with engineering leadership.
Collaborate with senior leaders across eBay's management team to align plans with partners in the core product and technology teams, as well as marketing, operations, sales, and strategy departments.
Continue to integrate diversity and inclusion into every aspect of eBay's operations.

What you will bring:

11+ years of Product Management Experience
Experience in Advertising and/or Marketing
Strong knowledge of Marketplace model dynamics
You have a successful track record leading product development in shopping experience
Experienced at leading managers and large international teams
You are an exceptional communicator who can be the catalyst of the inspiration within the ads product engineering group and be the brand voice of group in the technology community

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$187,600 - $291,500
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
