Mark Vend Co. is a Northbrook, IL based vending and office coffee service company known for quality since 1962. We're seeking a couple customer focused, friendly café baristas dedicated to one of our clients located in Willis Tower. The space is a classy, cool and corporate environment. We up our game to provide our clientele with high quality beverages and a top notch customer experience. We have the opportunity to get to know the familiar faces that frequent their corporate café.

The shift we are hiring for is Monday through Wednesday 7am-4pm.

What you'll be doing and brewing:

• Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction and a great café experience
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines
• Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors and management
• Open and close all café areas
• Prepare hot and cold espresso and coffee drink orders for customers, maintaining company standards and customer needs
• Enter orders accurately into POS
• Clean and general maintenance of coffee machines
• Maintain, clean and restock beverages and snacks
• Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of all café, vending or food service areas
• Proactive sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Barista or coffee house experience
• Barista experience in a corporate environment and serving corporate clients and customers is a plus
• Experience with maintenance of espresso & coffee machines a plus
• Consider yourself a "people person," and enjoy meeting others
• Ability to remain empathetic and professional when dealing with customers and team members
• Loves working as a team and appreciates the chance to collaborate
• Understands how to create and present a great customer service experience
• Has a focus on quality and takes pride in your work
• Self starter with initiative and open to learning new things
• Can keep cool and calm in a fastpaced, energetic work environment
• Can maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Has excellent communications skills, organized and detailed
• Can stand on your feet for 8 hrs. Lift up to 20lbs.
• Proof of Covid19 vaccinations
• Provide identification & authorization to work in the U.S.
