As a Global Supply chain Planner, you will be responsible for developing a balanced end to end supply plan over the 36-month planning horizon across multiple resources and sites for an Oncology brand.

The plan should deliver service targets and be optimized E2E for inventory.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Optimize Network planning for the Therapy subset for the full planning horizon. This includes both the internal GSK Global Site network (Primary & Secondary) and the External CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organization) network.
  • Accountable for the execution of the inventory & service policies across the Therapy subset from manufacturing site to end point of sale, through the SC (Supply Chain) Planning team.
  • Development of inventory optimization opportunities for the Therapy subset
  • Collate and run the Brand Pre-SRM for sites / CMO within the Therapy. Escalate to SCRM (Supply Chain Review Meeting) in line with CCC (Core Commercial Cycle) process.
  • Review SC KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and risks to SC performance, including planning parameter accuracy, reviewing demonstrated performance against SC design
  • Supply Chain scenario modelling across the Therapy subset to support decision making (eg for Make vs Buy, capacity changes).
  • Collate SCIM (Supply Chain Issue Management) escalations (according to defined tiering priority) from the team into the Global SCIM meetings, accountable for the actions for resolution for all escalations in the Brand network.
  • Escalate service, inventory & cost issues that cannot be resolved within the Therapy subset, for example multitherapy resources that require tradeoff.
  • Ensure team proficiency in Supply Chain Planning functional use and data management in SAP APO and ECC
  • Reinforce maintenance of accurate supply planning parameters in the ERP system, through all supply nodes, in line with the inventory and service policies, accountable for updating the FRS. Regularly review demonstrated performance against SC design.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain Mgmt, Engineering, Biology, or a Science related field
  • 2+ years Operational and/or Logistics experience in Bio Pharmaceuticals
  • 2+ years of experience working with multiple data sources to form conclusions / recommendation on supply priorities and sequencing
  • 2+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical specific regulatory post approval change management (PACM) with the ability to align regulatory requirements with the appropriate supply response while meeting strategy ambitions.
  • 2+ years of experience of core commercial cycles, inventory management and roughcut capacity planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Comfortable dealing with complexity and formulating risk-based scenarios to make informed decisions that could have significant monetary or strategic impact for key brands.
  • Experience with and the ability to utilize Planning Tools for Scenario Planning. Leveraging the scenario outputs to make informed decisions on the optimal option for securing supply to patients
  • Experience with and the ability to use dVSM to drive cycle time improvements. Working with sites to identify performance gaps as well as improvements to reduce cost and improve cash flow.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to VP level to reach decisions impacting supply of materials from internal and external vendors.
  • Comfortable dealing with complexity, translation into clear pedigree plans
  • Project management experience, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to drive change programmes across a network of sites
  • 2+ years of experience in planning systems including SAP, Llamasoft, dVSM and core data parameters that drive planning outcomes
