We are looking to hire a detail Steel Fabricator to install custom items from shop drawings into shipping containers. The Steel Fabricator will be skilled in welding and fabricating architectural metal items to structural items.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team.
The Fabricator will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specific instructions.
Duties:
- Utilize power tools and equipment to cut, weld, grind, and fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret drawings to understand project specifications
- Weld components together to assemble fabricated metal parts
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery as needed
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
Requirements:
- Proficiency in stick and mig welding techniques
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely
- Strong drawing reading skills
- Knowledge of crane operation for material handling
- Capability to build and assemble metal structures accurately
- Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations

Pay:
$ $22.45 per hour
