Duties
&
Responsibilities:
  • Carries out housekeeping and maintenance tasks according to established timelines.
Follows specific procedures for cleaning and decontaminating the environment. Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. Disposes of hazardous and nonhazardous waste in accordance with regulatory standards. Stocks handwashing and toiletry supplies in appropriate areas. Assists in minor maintenance tasks, equipment moves, and supply management. Completes required documentation to meet regulatory standards


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required. Minimum 6 months of relevant experience. Bilingual ability may be preferred based on participant population. Criminal background check required for Heartland Housing property management employees. DCFS background checks required for employees in youth programs.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A):

  • Comforts working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information diplomatically.
  • High degree of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and selfmotivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and remain selfmotivated.
