Job Summary:
Directs, organizes, plans and oversees organization's operations. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the administrative office policies and procedures. Assumes the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for directing administrative programs/activities. Works closely with the Market President to meet market, financial, community and physician needs.

Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgement.


Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, business, healthcare or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Ten years' technical experience: Preferred
  • Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Works with Market President to ensure financial and operational objectives are met. Assists in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives supporting specific organizational goals.
  • Participates in the establishment and maintenance of policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Ensures all regulations and guidelines are being met to maintain state licensing.
- o Review and recommend changes to policies and procedures based on Magnet standards

  • Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and reports these results executive management. Develops policies and programs that enhance the recruitment/retention staff and assists with setting up staffing patterns and standards to balance employee, patient and clinic needs.
  • Establishes assigned departmental budget aligned with department and organizational goals. Exercises independent judgment in recruiting, training, coaching, supervising and directing assigned staff.
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.
