Description

The goal of Customer Services is to ensure that the delivered machines are operational and highly productive throughout their entire lifecycle. Harro Höfliger places great emphasis on the interface between humans and machines.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for modifications, retrofits, expansions, and installations for camera systems throughout the machine lifecycle
  • Problem analysis, support, and troubleshooting through remote diagnosis and on-site worldwide
  • Creation and adaptation of specifications and design requirements
  • Support in our service department by analyzing camera application requirements and creating testing concepts for measurement and control tasks on Harro Höfliger machines
  • Conducting and documenting feasibility studies and designing system components in our in-house image processing evaluation laboratory (approximately 20%-30% of the time)
  • Development of custom function extensions in VB.Net and C#.Net
  • Conducting customer trainings

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed engineering degree or technical training
  • Ideally, experience in automation technology/mechanical engineering
  • First-hand experience in application development for camera systems, preferably with Cognex products (Vision Pro and Insight)
  • Knowledge of high-level programming, preferably in VB.Net and C#.Net
  • Approximately 50% travel required (approximately 25%
