Practical more than theory | Start your dual studies with us

Students of the Business Engineering program receive fundamental knowledge in the fields of technology (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics) and economics (e.g. general business administration and economics) during the theoretical phase at DHBW Karlsruhe. This is complemented by content from project management, business management, and controlling.

Furthermore, students can choose between two study focuses: "Production and Logistics" and "International Technical Sales (ITS)", with some courses being taught in English. During the practical phase at KIT, students deepen and supplement their theoretical knowledge. They are also introduced to the operational processes of KIT and are given their first independent tasks as a link between technology and business, preparing them for future job requirements. An international stay is mandatory for the ITS study focus and is generally recommended.
