We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Tax Accountant
who will support our Business Unit Support Services team and report to our Senior Manager of Sales & Use Tax and Licensing.
To include, but not limited to the following:
Perform Accounting & Finance Functions:
Journal Entries
Account Reconciliations
Research, Analysis, and Issue Resolution
Prepare, Configure, and Consolidate Reporting
Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close Responsibilities
Sales & Use Tax Filings
Indirect Tax Return Filings (Net Profits, Business Occupation, Gross Receipts)
Handling Sales & Use Tax Notices
Improve Accounting & Finance processes (Simplify, Standardize, & Automate)
Participate and/or Lead on Special Projects
Train and Mentor Staff on tax returns and processes
Research nexus triggers and risk assessment of business operations performed around tax and licensing
Provide administrative and licensing compliance support
Maintain SOX Controls
Support the APi Companies and APi Group with ad-hoc items as needed
Support the ERP and ISV systems as needed, including: System Configurations, User Testing, and Issue Resolution, etc.
Utilize tools such as Power Query and BI
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field

Benefits and Compensation:
This role can be performed remotely from any office in the United States. The pay range is $70,000 - $105,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
