Sure Jake, Inc. is building a premium creator-economy focused platform focused on discovery, community, and monetisation. We are designing a next-generation social product that puts creators first.
This is an early-stage venture with validated demand, a clear commercial model and global ambition.
Compensation
- Equity-only until funding is secured
- Equity allocation dependant on experience and commitment
- Cash compensation and leadershop position activated post-funding
The Role
We are seeking a senior, experienced strategist to join Sure Jake in as a Strategy Officer.
This is not an advisory role.
This is not a consulting exercise.
This role is about ownership of the story shaping how Sure Jake is understood by investors, partners, and the market.
This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience within
social media/entertainment/ecommerce
and wants ownership.
Role Purpose
To shape, stress-test, and articulate the complete Sure Jake narrative — commercially, strategically, and emotionally — so that investors clearly understand:
• the opportunity
• the timing
• the inevitability
• the return
What You Will Own
1. Strategic Leadership
- Act as a senior strategic counterpart to the Founder
- Provide experienced, calm leadership in investor-facing contexts
- Serve as a credibility anchor with investors, advisors, and partners
- Constructively challenge assumptions and surface risks early
2. Vision & Storytelling
- Translate the Sure Jake vision into a clear, persuasive narrative
- Ensure the story is:
- understandable in under 5 minutes
- defensible under scrutiny
- emotionally compelling without hype
- Position Sure Jake as a category leader, not a feature product
3. Business & Commercial Logic
- Clearly articulate:
- the market gap
- why it exists now
- why Sure Jake wins
- Ensure monetisation mechanics are:
- explicit
- believable
- visible within the product story
- Continuously pressure-test the "why this works" argument
4. Investor Narrative & Psychology
- Shape investor-facing language, tone, and positioning
- Help communicate confidence, inevitability, and discipline
- Support the Founder in handling objections and investor psychology
- Reinforce that Sure Jake is execution-led, not speculative
5. Inevitability & Scarcity Framing
- Define and reinforce:
- why Sure Jake must exist
- why the market is structurally ready
- why late entry is costly
- Position the opportunity as:
- time-sensitive
- scarce
- asymmetric in upside
6. Deck & Data Room Excellence
- Review and refine:
- pitch deck
- data room materials
- narrative flow across assets
- Identify gaps, weak transitions, over- or under-claims
- Guide improvements in:
- clarity
- sequencing
- persuasion
- professionalism
7. Strategic Advisory
- Act as a strategic sounding board during pre-funding execution
- Proactively suggest narrative, positioning, and structural improvements
- Ensure Sure Jake is always presented at its strongest
