    Description

    Our Client, a multinational toy manufacturing company is looking for someone to join their team as an HR Business Partner

    **This is an onsite 6-month contract that takes place in Jonestown, PA**

    Required Skills &Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in an HR Generalist role.
    • 2+ years of experience with managing employee investigations and conflict resolution.
    • Bilingual– Spanish.
    • Comprehensive organizational development and change management experience. Navigate ambiguity with ease.
    • Ability to build and facilitate trusted business partnerships across multiple functional groups within the HR organization.
    • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including, but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, Unemployment, Workers Compensation, etc.
    • Ability to maintain confidential information.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all non-exempt employee relations concerns, investigations, and employee discipline; provide effective solutions.
    • Partner with business leaders to conduct employee relations investigations in a timely manner; review and collect fact findings for appropriate resolution.
    • Provide guidance to business leaders on conflict resolution, corrective action, disciplinary documentation, and coaching conversations.
    • Coach leaders to manage and maximize the skills and capabilities of their team and create a culture of empowerment and accountability.
    • Provide guidance to business leaders and employees to ensure full understanding and practical application of HR programs, practices, and policies.
    • Promote Mattel's values and culture.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives across the DC (e.g., team building, fun events, holiday calendar, etc.); empower Mattel's culture from within.
