Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the Army G3/5/7 Cyber Operations principal contract action officer and project leader for all activities relating to the programs, policy and integration of Army Cyber planning and strategy with OSD and the Joint Staff.
  • Review Army Cyber policy and doctrine for compliance with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Joint Staff.
  • Ensure Army Cyber requirements are part of the Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) or other Congressional reporting requirements.
  • Prepare HQDA G3/5/7 briefings as required, coordinate and executes appropriate actions for these meetings, apprises senior leadership on items that require highlevel visibility. Attends periodic meetings and coordinate input to OSD and Joint Staff data calls.
  • Provide Army G3 cyber review of all Joint actions relating to cyber and related capabilities. Integrates cyber into development of new Army and Joint operational concepts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Army Force Structure, Army and Joint Staff reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Establish formal Taskers for Armywide staffing of related actions; as well as draft responses on behalf of the Division/Directorate in response to external Taskers as needed.
  • Develop responses to related requests for information (RFIs) to include RFIs from Army Leadership, Joint Staff, OSD, Combatant Commands, Congress, etc.
  • Develop recommendations and brief Senior Leaders to inform decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Graduate Degree or Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of HQDA G3/5/7 PWS taskrelated experience
  • Must have an active Top-Secret w/ SCI eligibility US Government Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Detailoriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with Senior Members of the Army Staff, to include the Executive Office of the Headquarters.
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
  • Must have the ability to work within Governmentprovided software packages with emphasis on MS products, for example, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of military experience
