Overview:


DevTech is seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our growing Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) team.

In this role, you will provide critical administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our team's initiatives specifically, on the United States Agency for International Development - funded, Swift Expertise and Grounded Analytics task order.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide calendar management and scheduling for the MERL Director, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets for research projects.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports.
  • Manage team workshops and events, including but not limited to: research and book venues, purchase food and materials.
  • Organize and maintain meeting materials, including taking detailed minutes and ensuring timely distribution.
  • Work with Human Resources and/or Contracts to support onboarding and offboarding employees and consultants.
  • Manage inboxes, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Assist with research logistics, such as scheduling interviews and managing participant recruitment.
  • Support the team's routine reporting activities, including compiling inputs and drafting visually compelling reports.
  • Assist with creating, maintaining, and updating MERL template.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a research or nonprofit setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn quickly, especially related to adopting new technologies and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges, think on your feet, and thrive in a dynamic small business environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A passion for international development
