Position Summary:

As a Produce Department Lead, you'll boost sales in your section and oversee your team to provide our members with more of what they love, at great prices.

You'll showcase your expertise in Produce and collaborate with other leaders to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What You'll Do:

Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team in Produce and Floral, ensuring the business plan is met and contributing to the club's overall success. Communicate department goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Collaborate with other leaders to meet member expectations.
Be an Expert: Maintain a deep knowledge of floor business, backroom operations, and ensure the produce area meets company standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, safety, and compliance. Manage seasonality, product knowledge, and prioritize time effectively. Collaborate with associates to provide resources, share knowledge, and train the team.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, enhance shopping experiences, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions, training, and product quality. Encourage the adoption of new tools.
Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Manage staffing levels, audits, merchandise displays, and prioritize member service.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Train the team effectively, identify potential in others, provide necessary skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and recruit new talent externally and internally. Leads and participates in teams, determines customer needs, priorities, coordinates work, provides advice, and models adaptability to change.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $31.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 months experience in a fresh production department or team supervision.
- Must be 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Team supervision experience.
- Food Handler Certification.
