Description

PRDDC is seeking a Full-Time RN or LPN for Medication Dispensing and other duties from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday-Friday and some Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 5 pm to 8 pm. The applicant must be licensed by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Prepares and administers medication to Program clients, maintaining essential medication inventory records and logs in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Observes and appropriately records/reports changes in a client's condition.
Provides physical addictionsrelated consultations to clients on an asneeded basis, recording such consultations in the client's record.
Initiates and maintains program arrangements consistent with the Program Policies pertaining to the continuity of client care and treatment.
Coordinates medical treatment by providing medical information, on behalf of the clients, to other services; i.e., hospitals, inpatient facilities, etc.
Participates in professional development activities to maintain stateoftheart knowledge and skills relevant to nursing practice in a drug rehabilitation program.
Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned by the supervisor
