- The Design Engineer is primarily responsible for the physical design of instruments, including electro-mechanics, fluidics, optics and the physical user-interface. He/she will also integrate the efforts of the electronics and software engineers in the product development team.
- Develop prototypes for testing and conduct testing to identify design issues or improvements.
- Document designs including 3D Models, Drawings and Assembly Procedures
- Customer integration, Satisfaction, and Service
- New Product Development
- Identify & Troubleshoot of products through entire product life cycle
- 5-8 Years as a mechanical engineer (or related) involved in the design of innovative electro-mechanical systems.
- Must have significant experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team, with a proven record of design innovation.
- Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling is required; Creo Parametric experience is a plus.
