OnGuard Pest Control - service manager


OnGuard Pest Control, one of the highest-rated pest control companies in Brooklyn, is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated service manager to join our team.

In this role, you'll support a team of (number) technicians and handle the day-to-day responsibilities of keeping the service side of our organization running smoothly and efficiently.

More specifically, you'll be in charge of onboarding new technicians, providing ongoing training to current technicians on technical skills and customer service strategies and assisting technicians on difficult jobs.

You'll also conduct ride-alongs with your technicians on a monthly basis and make suggestions and corrections when necessary.

Additionally, you'll perform quality assurance checks on existing accounts by communicating with resident managers, manage inspections for potential new commercial accounts and coordinate the distribution of materials to technicians to ensure they have everything they need to do their jobs effectively.

But wait - there's more Even though this isn't a sales position, you'll have the opportunity to upsell services to our existing customers and you'll receive bonus pay for any new revenue you generate.


Responsibilities at a glance:


  • Support a team of 12 technicians, managing daytoday operations to ensure efficiency and smooth functioning of the service side of the organization
  • Take charge of training new and existing technicians, providing them with ongoing education on technical skills and customer service strategies
  • Conduct monthly ridealongs with current technicians, offering suggestions and corrections as needed
  • Assist technicians with challenging jobs to ensure highquality service delivery
  • Perform quality assurance checks by communicating with resident managers to confirm their satisfaction with the service and to identify any significant issues in the buildings
  • Conduct inspections for potential commercial accounts, develop treatment plans and set pricing for new accounts
  • Coordinate the distribution of materials to technicians to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their jobs effectively
  • Upsell services to existing customers

Skills and requirements:

  • Detail oriented and great at time management
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must

Pay:
$75, $95,000.00 per year
