Responsibilities
YOUR ROLE AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design isolated/ non-isolated power supplies and related analog and/or digital hardware for RF amplifiers and electronic systems.
Coordinate and perform schematic and PCB layout reviews.
Develop and implement EMI/EMC compliant and other circuit protection designs including transient suppression, EMI filters and shielding.
Develop firmware & digital circuits for power amplifiers and other electronics which could include FPGAs, CPLDs, DSPs, processors, high speed data convertors, signal conditioning, and power conversion circuits.
Prepare VHDL and C/C# code as required to meet commitments of the Company.Full understanding of relevant MIL level specifications such as MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704.
Perform DVT level and production level verification.
Leads and reviews development of embedded code and PC graphical user interfaces written in C and Visual C#.
Support technical input and writeups for proposals.
Maintain current and accurate design records, including regularly using the company firmware repository and releasing documents and firmware.
Mentor junior level Hardware Engineers within the department by training on new material, peer reviewing existing work, and guiding through troubleshooting efforts.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
HOW TO SUCCEED
To join us you'll need:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, or related technical disciplines.
8+ years of direct experience in developing and testing electronics products.
This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws.
As a condition to this job offer, to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S.
Government export license(s), as required by law.A/D and D/A experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical issues, ideas, and project status to peers and management.
Demonstrated collaboration skills between other interdisciplinary groups to meet objectives or goals.FPGA USB, SPI, I2C and CAN Bus knowledge and experience.
Embedded controller system experience.
Experience in code debugging.
DC/DC and AC/DC power supply troubleshooting knowledge.
Experience with PCB layout and design.
Familiarity with schematics capture software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, or related technical disciplines.
Experience with circuit simulation and validation software
Proactive approach to work, taking initiative and having the ability to work independently.
Ability to mentor junior level engineers.
A licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Salary Range:
$133, $170,149.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
